First episode of season 4 Jaz notices the replacement for Aunt Viv.
The reason why she was replaced because during season 3 the original Aunt Viv actually had a baby and the show worked it with the story, adding the Nicky to the cast. So they fired her because it breached the contract.
But Prior to all that the cast had problems with the original Aunt Viv. The actor that played Carlton even called her crazy.
